Lessons on cards
25 lessons across the four subjects, following the chapters of the study text. One idea per card, a few minutes at a time, and a checkpoint quiz at the end.
Restaurant-sector Tokutei Ginou 2 exam prep
Minna no Tokugi (みんなの特技) is a study app for the restaurant-sector Tokutei Ginou 2 (Specified Skilled Worker No. 2) evaluation exam. Learn with short lessons, practise with questions that explain every option, and test yourself with mock exams in the real format. Stuck? Ask Toku, the AI tutor.
The questions are in Japanese, just like on exam day. Furigana and English or Vietnamese translations are there when you need them, and out of the way when you don’t.

Not sure where to start? Open Today’s set on Home. It puts together the questions due for review, your weak topics and some new material — just enough for that day.
25 lessons across the four subjects, following the chapters of the study text. One idea per card, a few minutes at a time, and a checkpoint quiz at the end.
Not just why the right answer is right, but why each of the others is wrong. In a three-choice exam, spotting the wrong options is what wins points.
The same number of questions, time limit and points as the real exam, on a screen modelled on the computer-based test: question list, review flags, calculator and notes. A practice mode lets you pause the clock.
Questions you miss return after a gap, as a different question on the same point where one exists — so you learn the idea, not the answer’s position. Plus a terms deck with quizzes.
Each subject is shown against the pass line. Once you have taken enough mock exams, you see a score band — a range, with what it is based on. Never a made-up “pass chance”.
Explains a question or a lesson card in English, Vietnamese or easy Japanese, starting from the one you are looking at.
Turn furigana on or off, tap a word for its meaning, reveal a sentence in English or Vietnamese, or listen to the Japanese. Mock exams stay exam-real, with no help.
The study content is saved on your phone, so lessons, practice and mock exams work with no signal. You need a connection only for Toku, syncing and purchases.
Set a goal of study days a week and pick reminder times for each day. Streaks count weeks, not days, so one busy shift doesn’t break them.
When you want an explanation in your own language, or a term explained one more time, Toku answers from the question or lesson card you are looking at.
Toku’s answers are written by AI and can be wrong; check anything important against official information. Using Toku needs a sign-in with Apple or Google.
Start free. When you want every lesson and every mock exam, go paid. All three paid plans unlock the same things; they differ only in length and how you pay.

No. Minna no Tokugi is independent: it is not connected with OTAFF or any other exam body or government office. Our lessons and questions are written in our own words, citing the study text published by the Japan Foodservice Association.
We can’t promise a pass, and nobody honestly can. Mock scores and score bands are a guide to help you study. The exam bodies set the content and the dates, and they can change.
Android is coming soon. For now, Minna no Tokugi is on iPhone.
